If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
When I read Dianetics I felt that there would have to be something very deep to change my problem. I figured that if that book was true in its contents, my life would be easier. I had to read that book well to really grasp the idea. After having read that book, I saw Scientology as the next step to Total Freedom.
